Wow! So we spent the whole day "brainstorming." Started with one idea, then another, and another...then back to the first...oh my! Turns out we were all thinking the same thing..."If I quit now, it'll only cost me $100!" and "What the hell did I get myself into?"
We hit a huge roadblock but after some mauling over, we finally have an "idea" that we hope will work. It sounds promising. I sure would have figured out some way to get out of this if it wasn't for my cohort buddies...I guess two (or three) heads are better than one.
I am really excited to try out our investigation ideas over winter break. Can't wait to see what grows!
Because I know that my students deserve and need the best of me, I am going through this journey. They will know that what they are learning has purpose. They will have a feeling of personal success and confidence in all subjects. They will also understand the importance of taking responsibility for their learning.
